Iron is the rig. Trail is the run.

Built dirty. Worn proud.

Mudslingers Iron & Trail isn’t a clothing company that found off-road. It started at the trailhead, covered in it.

The story

Where it started

It started the way these things do — a group of friends, a few rigs, and a long weekend where everything that could go wrong did. Somewhere between a stuck truck and a winch line, the idea stuck too: make the gear we actually wanted to wear, and build the community we wanted to run with.

The badge says Iron & Trail because that’s the whole thing. Iron is the rig — the truck, the Jeep, the side-by-side you built and broke and built again. Trail is the run — the place you point it and the people who go with you.

We’re a national brand now, but we’re not corporate and we never will be. We make apparel, hats, and gear, we publish trail guides and stories, and we throw meetups from the high desert to the back-country. That’s it. For the people who actually run their iron through it.

What we stand on

The code

Real over polished

No plastic stock photos of clean rigs. We show the mud, the dents, the recovery straps. The real thing.

The run is the point

Gear gets you out the door. What matters is the trail and the people you run it with.

Tread lightly

We love these places because they’re wild. Stay the trail, pack it out, leave it better.

Built by wheelers

Every piece is designed by people who air down and pull each other out — not a focus group.
